Where Art Thou Andrew
As most of you know, these past few weeks our team of four has only had three members in the country. Our fourth member Andrew has been serving in the Philippines and will be wrapping up his month there shortly.  Here in Canada we anxiously await his arrival as our team is quickly seeing camp approach (we are doing maintenance at PRBI currently and head out to our first camp next Friday). We are excited for the new team dynamic that will be in place when he joins us and we can’t wait to hear stories.

Anyways, I asked Andrew to provide an update about his trip so that we could share his experiences with all of you. Andrew excitedly shared with me some of the opportunities that the Philippines team has had. As I caused him to reflect on the past few weeks he could not help but exclaimed “Oh boy. A lot has happened!” Indeed they have been up to a lot, including ministries in Muslim communities, involvement in medical procedures (such as tooth cleaning, health checkups, and circumcisions), building houses in the flood affected areas, working at camps (apparently “Big Booty is a favorite game of the kids) , and Andrew has even had the chance to preach. God has been using the team in many ways to make an enormous impact on people for Christ. Currently the team is at a camp where they have a unique opportunity to have fun and share the gospel.

We are so excited about the opportunities that God has given Andrew to share His love in the Philippines. Please continue to pray for him as they wrap up their time. Also much prayer will be appreciated as Andrew will be required to jump right into camp ministry in Canada. No doubt he will be jet legged and exhausted. I am sure he will appreciate the extra support in prayer. Thanks
Heather
